Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: April 27, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all prompts, book information, uploaded images, and generated book covers submitted to or created with bookcovermaker.org.

1. Content Safety Screening

We screen user prompts before sending them to our AI image generation provider. Prompts that are rejected or flagged by our moderation systems will not be processed.

2. Prohibited Sexual Content

• No NSFW, adult, nude, pornographic, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive content.
• No sexualized depictions of minors or any content involving child sexual exploitation or abuse.
• No prompts, uploads, or covers designed to imply escort services, adult entertainment, or sexual services.

3. Other Prohibited Content

• No illegal, harmful, harassing, hateful, extremist, or violent content.
• No content that promotes self-harm, abuse, exploitation, fraud, or unlawful activity.
• No impersonation, deceptive use of public figures, or misleading political content.
• No content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other rights of third parties.

4. Uploaded Images

Uploaded images must follow the same rules as prompts. Do not upload images containing nudity, sexual content, illegal material, hate symbols, graphic violence, or third-party content you do not have permission to use.

5. Enforcement

We may block a prompt, refuse generation, remove generated content, suspend access, or terminate accounts that violate this policy. If moderation is temporarily unavailable, generation may be paused until the safety check is available again.
